This Wednesday 15th January, 2020 - Rwanda Social Security Board unveils a new web face which will offer to its clients more state of the art features that are both interactive and attractive.
Unlike the previous one, the new web design offers a platform to access RSSB online services altogether , helps clients to provide their comments on services rendered to them as well as a chance to view , listen to videos and audio broadcasts through multiple platforms notably RSSB social media accounts and RSSB online applications.
The Director General of RSSB, Richard Tusabe says that the new RSSB website was designed to accommodate all necessary online services and to provide a comprehensive and in-depth review of RSSB’s main responsibilities, its mission and how it is accomplished, as well as its vision and corporate values.
‘’The new web face which was unveiled today, creates a complete customer service experience by offering a great number of online resources altogether and this will help our business stay on top. We also believe that, this new web will certainly increase customer satisfaction’’, said Richard Tusabe.
The Director General of Rwanda Social Security Board also echoed that his Institution is in the process of digitalizing all RSSB services, a process that could take up to 18 months and is expected to cost Rwf4 billion.
The Schemes currently managed by RSSB include: pension, occupational risks and health insurance. In addition to the existing schemes, RSSB has also integrated Community Based Health Insurance covering almost all Rwandans and Maternity Leave Benefits Scheme as provided respectively by the law N◦03/2015 of 02/03/2015 and law N◦003/2016 of 30/03/2016.
Established under the law n° 29/2017, Ejo Heza (Long Term Saving Scheme) in December 2019 was also transferred to RSSB. All this is done in order to provide comprehensive social security benefits to all Rwandans.
